Ceremony organized by the Embassy of Viet Nam to celebrate the 79th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day

On September 5, at the Vietnam House in Washington DC, the Vietnamese Embassy in the United States solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024).

The Vietnamese booth attracted the attention of delegates with a booth introducing traditional costumes, water puppets, brocade, lacquerware, handicrafts, and a presentation about Vietnam tourism.

Vietnam - US relations highlighted at CSIS seminar

A seminar on Vietnam-US relations was held on January 23 in Washington, D.C., by the Washington-based Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), with the participation of many officials, parliamentarians, scholars, and representatives of the American business community. Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son sent a pre-recorded speech in order to welcome the event.

 

Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Dzung attends the ASEAN Ambassadors Tour to promote trade and investment with the United States

From October 16 to 20, 2023, Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Dzung attended the sixth annual ASEAN Ambassadors’ Tour hosted by the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC). This year’s Tour focused on promoting greater awareness of the political and economic significance of America’s relationship with ASEAN and the dynamic relationships among each of the ten ASEAN nations.
