Guidelines on COVID-19 prevention and control regulations for foreign nationals on short-term visits

On August 31, 2020, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Long-Acting Minister of Health signed Official Circular No. 4674 / BYT-MT providing new guidelines on COVID-19 prevention and control regulations for foreign nationals on short-term visits (less than 14 days) to Viet Nam.

Commercial flights connecting Viet Nam and several destinations in Asia to resume from mid-July

The Government of Viet Nam has approved an Initial Plan to resume commercial flights to several destinations in Asia. Accordingly, from the middle of July 2020, Viet Nam will resume a number of flights to Guangzhou (China), Taiwan (China), Seoul (South Korea), and Tokyo (Japan) with a frequency of 1 to 2 flights per week per route. Airports for departures and arrivals in Viet Nam include Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang International Airport.
