Vietnamese Party official pays working visit to US

Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of its Commission for External Relations Le Hoai Trung paid a working visit to the US from December 2-5. At meetings with US partners, Trung and his US partners appreciated the positive results of the Vietnam-US relations in recent years, especially following the upgrade of their partnership to a Comprehensive strategic partnership.

(VNA)The second Vietnam-US defence policy dialogue took place in Washington on Sept. 19 under the co-chair of Vietnamese Deputy Defence Minister Lt. Gen. Nguyen Chi Vinh and US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence Robert Scher.

At the dialogue, the two sides expressed satisfaction at the outcomes of bilateral defence cooperation over the recent past.

Both Vinh and Scher agreed on the need to make the Vietnam-US defence cooperation more practical in the interest of each country and for peace, stability and cooperation in the region and the world.

Ngày 08/8/2025, Chính phủ Việt Nam đã ban hành Nghị định số 221/2025/NĐ-CP quy định về việc miễn thị thực có thời hạn cho người nước ngoài thuộc diện đối tượng đặc biệt cần ưu đãi phục vụ phát triển kinh tế- xã hội.

Việt Nam miễn thị thực theo Chương trình kích cầu phát triển du lịch cho công dân 12 nước: Bỉ, Bulgaria, Croatia, Séc, Hungary, Luxembourg, Hà Lan, Ba Lan, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia và Thụy sỹ.
