Embassy opens Book of Condolences on passing away of President Tran Dai Quang
The Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in the United States of America regrets with profound sorrow to inform of the passing away on September 21, 2018 of His Excellency Mr. Tran Dai Quang, President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
H.E. Mr. Tran Dai Quang has made significant contribution to the national construction and defense of Viet Nam and relations between Viet Nam and the United States, foreign countries and international organizations. His passing away is a tremendous loss for the Party, the State, and the People of Viet Nam. A State Funeral will be held in Viet Nam on September 26 – 27, 2018 for President Tran Dai Quang.
A Book of Condolences will be opened at the Viet Nam Embassy, 1233 20th Street NW, Suite 400, Washington D.C. 20036 on Wednesday and Thursday, September 26 – 27, 2018 from 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
