Ambassador Ha Kim Ngoc presents copy credentials to State Department

 

On July 18, 2018, new Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to the United States of America Ha Kim Ngoc presented a copy of his credentials to Chief of Protocol of the United States, Ambassador Sean Lawler.

 

 

Receiving the copy of credentials, Ambassador Sean Lawler highlighted the strong development of the Viet Nam – U.S. comprehensive partnership over the past time. Ambassador Lawler welcomed Ambassador Ha Kim Ngoc and affirmed his commitment to work closely with Ambassador Ha Kim Ngoc to further strengthen Viet Nam – U.S. relations, both bilateral and multilateral, in the coming time.

 

 

During the meeting, Ambassador Ha Kim Ngoc expressed his honor to be Viet Nam’s Ambassador to the United States. The Ambassador affirmed to cooperate with the State Department, government agencies, the Congress and business community to further deepen the Comprehensive Partnership between the two countries in the interest of the two peoples, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

 

Ambassador Ha Kim Ngoc was appointed by President Tran Dai Quang as the sixth Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to the United States of America in March 2018. He arrived in Washington, D.C. on July 15, 2018.
