Ambassador Pham Quang Vinh met with Congressman Matt Salmon

 

On March 26th, Ambassador Pham Quang Vinh met with Congressman Matt Salmon, Chairman of the Sub-committee on Asia and the Pacific of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the US House of Representatives. 

 

At the meeting, Congressman Salmon voiced his support for strengthened US - Vietnam relations and the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. He also highlighted the cooperation projects between Vietnam and Arizona, including the HEEPAP program between Vietnam and Arizona University, funded by Intel and USAID since 2010. 

 

Ambassador Pham Quang Vinh laid out the priorities for bilateral relations, particularly in this significant commemorative 20th anniversary and thanked Congressman Salmon for his support to bilateral relations.
