Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Cuong attended the Fulbright Enrichment Seminar

On March 15th, Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Cuong, a Fulbright Scholarship alumnus, attended a Fulbright Enrichment Seminar hosted by the Department of State for foreign students studying in US on Fulbright scholarship.

In his welcome remarks at the seminar, Secretary Kerry reflected upon his efforts in the late 1980s and early 1990s in normalizing relations with Vietnam along with Senator John McCain, and in starting the Fulbright program in Vietnam. The program, at one point a couple of years ago, became the largest of all Fulbright programs in the world.
