Vietnam Foreign Arrivals Up 10 pct
Vietnam welcomed 330,000 foreign visitors in May, an increase of 10 percent over the same period last year, the Ministry of Planning and Investment said. 
This took the total number of foreign arrivals this year to 1.6 million, it added.
Visitors from Cambodia increased by 60 percent, from Thailand 55 percent, South Korea and Russia 53 percent, Japan and Malaysia 34 percent, and the US 27 percent.
Many luxury hotels in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Nha Trang town in the central Khanh Hoa province were fully booked despite a 15-20 percent increase in tariffs.
