FAO grants 400,000$ to flood-hit provinces
Ha Noi, March 14 (VNA) -- The World Food Organisation (FAO) has granted USD 402,784 to Mekong delta Can Tho, Dong Thap and An Giang provinces to develop aquaculture.
The project which will start later this month will benefit farmer households hard hit by floods last year.
It will finance aquaculture development schemes by 520 households in Can Tho province's O Mon and Thot Not districts, 860 households in Dong Thap province's Tam Nong, Tan Hong, Hong Ngu and Thanh Hung districts, and 90 households in An Giang province's Phu Tan, Chau Phu and Cho Moi districts.--VNA
