Photo Exhibition for Agent Orange victims

Jan. 6 (VNA) -- A photo exhibition showing the effects of Agent Orange sprayed U.S. aircraft during the American War was opened at the war-evidence museum in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday, Jan. 5.

The collection of about 100 photos, all taken by Japanese photographer Goro Nakamura, reflects the sufferings of Vietnamese, American and South Korean victims of Agent Orange.

There are about one million Agent Orange victims in Viet Nam, including 100,000 children, and almost all of them are now living a hard life although the war ended more than 25 years ago.

On this occasion, Goro Nakamura has donated USD 1,000 to a newly-established fund in the city to support these victims.--VNA
