<B> Visit of Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to the U.S</B>
Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will pay a working visit to the United States of America from December 10 to 14th to further promote bilateral relations, especially in the fields of economy and trade between the two countries after the ratification of the Vietnam-U.S Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA).
The Deputy Prime Minister will be accompanied by Minister of Trade Vu Khoan; Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Xuan Gia; Minister of Construction Nguyen Manh Kiem and other high ranking governmental officials. A group of over 60 representatives from the Vietnamese business community from both state-owned and private sectors will also join the delegation.
During their stay in the U.S.A, Vietnamese delegation will visit Washington, New York and San Francisco. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will exchange views with high level Administration officials, Senators and Congressmen.
The Deputy Prime Minister and his entourage will participate in a number of Trade and Investment seminars and fora with Vietnamese and U.S business communities in the three cities. The Deputy Prime Minister will also have separate meetings with leading American companies.
In New York, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will pay a visit to Ground Zero.
In San Francisco, the Deputy Prime Minister will meet with Governor of California Gray Davis.
