NEW YORK, June 23, 2005 – The New York Stock Exchange is honored to open its doors to the Vietnamese delegation in conjunction with Prime Minister Phan Van KHAI’s official visit to the U.S.
Mr. Bush made the announcement as he met with Vietnam's visiting prime minister at the White House. It's the first visit by a Vietnamese leader to the U.S. since the end of the war there 30 years ago.
Relations between Vietnam and the US have begun a new era, Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan remarked on the groundbreaking US visit by PM Phan Van Khai.
