Expat Vietnamese Donates $10,000 to Orphans in Mekong Delta
A Vietnamese-American philanthropist handed over Friday US$10,000 to charity in the Mekong Delta province of Can Tho.
Tang Minh Trieu, a businessman from Los Angeles, California, presented the sum to the Can Tho Charity Fund to aid orphans of the Street Children Club, Huong Duong orphanage and the Pediatrics Hospital in the provincial capital, Can Tho city.
“I want to help disadvantaged Vietnamese children realize their dreams out of my love for them and my home country,” Trieu said.
