Vietnam supports drugs control in Eastern Asia



Ha Noi, May 13 (VNA) -- The Prime Minister has assigned the Ministry of Public Security to participate in the implementation of two regional projects on drugs control and strengthening the capacity to support drugs control activities in eastern Asia.

The drugs control project, funded by the United Nations drugs control programme, will be carried out in Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Viet Nam for four years.

The other two-year project on strengthening the capacity to support drugs control activities in eastern Asia involves Cambodia, China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam.--VNA
