APEC 14 to witness deeper co-operation: President Triet

The 14th APEC Economic Leaders’ Week has started in Hanoi on November 12. The event is of great importance for APEC member countries in seeking deeper co-operation in various fields, said President Nguyen Minh Triet in an interview granted to Nhan Dan newspaper.

Vietnam has said it supports the United Nations General Assembly’s decision to approve Ban Ki-Moon, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Korea (RoK), as next UN secretary general.
