U.S. Ambassador sees bright prospects of Vietnam-U.S. relations


U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Michael W. Marine in his recent interview with Vietnam Investment Review affirmed that he was very optimistic about multifaceted relations between Vietnam and the U.S. Excerpts:

Question: How do you see the relationship and future prospects for bilateral relations. What will you do next year to strengthen the relationship between the two countries?

Deals worth $35m signed on PM’s first day of U.S. visit

Mr. Khai arrived in the west coast city of Seattle to witness the signing of two economic contracts between Vietnamese businesses and local group Pegasus Global Capital.

Viet Nam-US 8th round of WTO negotiations ends

Washington (VNA) - Viet Nam and the United States wraped up their eighth round of negotiations on Viet Nam's joining the World Trade Organisation (WTO) in Washington on June 16 after four days of sitting.

Homecoming brings Babylift full circle

HCM CITY — Twenty-one children who departed Viet Nam on the US’s Operation Babylift flights thirty years ago completed their long journeys yesterday when they returned to visit Viet Nam.
