Vietnam’s new ambassador to the US has affirmed that the most important goal of his working term is to contribute to developing the Vietnam-US ties into a strategic partnership.

Appointed Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Cuong met USABC and US Chamber of Commerce

Meeting with US CEO organized by US Chambers of Commerce and US ASEAN Business Council.  On June 14 and June 19 respectively, Ambassador Cuong had meetings with US prominent corporate members of business and think tank communities organized by USCC and USABC in Washington DC discussing the opportunities for US companies doing business in Vietnam. Amb. Cuong highlighted the current trade and commercial ties between the two countries.

Vietnam’s National Day Celebrated in Washington DC

The Vietnamese Embassy in Washington D.C. has held a ceremony to celebrate the country’s 63rd National Day (Sept. 2).

The ceremony was attended by about 300 guests, including Congressman Eni Faleomavaega – Chairman of the Subcommittee on Asia , the Pacific and the Global Environment under the House’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, Ms. Henrietta H. Fore – Administrator of the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

VIETNAM'S FOUNDING FATHERS HONORED IN WASHINGTON DC
