ASEAN Washington Committee voiced Their Support for Vietnam - U.S. PNTR

In a letter sent to U.S. Scretary of State Condoleezza Rice on July 7th, the ASEAN Washington Committee (AWC) has showed their support for Vietnam - U.S. Permanent Normal Trade Relations. Connexions Prepares for Vietnam Launch

Vietnam is to deploy Connexions' web-based, open-source document creation and management system and content to improve education and research nationwide.

Rice University's Connexions today announced a memorandum of understanding with the Vietnam Education Foundation (VEF), Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) and the Vietnam Advanced Software Company (VASC).

An Giang  - Nearly one million followers of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Sect in Mekong Delta provinces and Ho Chi Minh City gathered in Phu My town of Phu Tan district, An Giang province, to celebrate the Sect's 67th founding anniversary on the 18th of the fifth lunar month (June 13).

Representatives from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs and An Giang provincial officials took part in the ceremony, which was solemnly held at An Hoa Tu Pagoda.
